Terms and Conditions

Reservation and Payment:

All bookings must be made online or by phone and confirmed by email.

Private Tours:

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for private tours. Full payment is due 15 days before the date of the tour. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Late payment fees will be charged for any payments not made within the specified time frame.

Cancellation:

For group tours, a minimum of two people is required for the tour to be confirmed. If the minimum number of participants is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In the event of cancellation on our part, customers will receive a full refund.

  1. In the event of cancellation by the client, the following fees will apply:

Small Group Tours:

24-hour cancellation policy. No refund after that.

Private Group Tours:

  • More than 60 days before arrival: 10% of the total amount of the tour.
  • From 60 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount of the tour.
  • Less than 15 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount of the tour.

Weather Conditions:

  • In the event of tour cancellation by the client due to weather conditions, no refund will be given and the client will be responsible for the costs.
  1. Changes and Cancellations by the Company:
  • The company reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary, including vineyard visits, tastings, or accommodations, if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as vineyard closures, weather conditions, or other factors beyond the company’s control. In such cases, the company will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives.

Liability:

Buzz Tours will not be responsible for any accidents, losses, damages, or delays caused by third parties or events beyond its control. The company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or governmental regulations. Customers are responsible for their own safety and must follow the instructions given by the guide during the tour.

Insurance:

  • Participants are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers potential risks and liabilities during the tour. Buzz Tours is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to personal belongings or individuals during the tour.

 

Age Restrictions:

  • Participants must be of legal drinking age (18 years or older) to take part in wine-tasting activities. Proof of age may be required, and participants who do not meet the legal drinking age will not be permitted to consume alcoholic beverages. Children accompanied by an adult may attend a tour but not participate in wine-tasting activities even if the legal guardian provides consent.

 

Code of Conduct:

Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards the company’s staff, other participants and the property visited. Any disruptive, offensive, or illegal behavior may result in immediate termination of the tour without a refund.

Health and Fitness: 

  • Participants should ensure they are in good health and able to engage in the physical activities involved in the tour, such as walking through vineyards or climbing stairs. It is the participant’s responsibility to inform the company of any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their participation.

Dietary Restrictions and Allergies: 

  • Participants with specific dietary restrictions or food allergies must inform the company at the time of booking. While efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, the company cannot guarantee that all requests can be met. It is the participant’s responsibility to bring necessary medications or food alternatives.

Cleaning Fee:

  • In the event of the van/car being soiled during the tour, an additional fee of 50 euros will be charged. 

 

Transportation:

  • The company may provide transportation services as part of the tour. Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the driver and adhere to safety guidelines while on board. The company reserves the right to deny transportation or remove a participant who poses a risk to the safety and well-being of others.

 

Right to Image:

All customers grant Buzz Tours the right to use their image unless otherwise notified by the customer.

Intellectual Property: 

  • All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and written content produced by the company during the tour, remain the property of the company. Participants are prohibited from using, reproducing, or distributing such materials without the company’s explicit permission.

 

Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France.

By booking a tour with BUZZ TOURS, you/participants agree to abide by these additional terms and conditions in addition to the general terms and conditions stated earlier.
